The Detailed Guide is a step-by-step walkthrough designed to help you navigate and fully utilize the Information Markets platform. Each section in this guide is accompanied by visual aids such as images and GIFs, offering a clear view of the actions needed to set up your account, connect your wallet, place predictions, track results, and claim rewards.
1. Click the “Connect with X” button:
• At the top-right of the homepage, locate and click the “Connect with X” button.
• Follow the prompts to authorize your account on the X platform.
• After authorization, you will be redirected to the Information Market platform to complete setup.
1. Fill in Profile Information:
• Provide details such as gender and age range.
2. Save Your Profile:
• Click “Save” to store your profile information and proceed.

• In the top-right corner, click “Connect Wallet” to open the wallet selection panel.
2. Choose Your Wallet Provider:
• Select a supported wallet from the options (e.g., MetaMask).
• Follow the prompts in your wallet app to connect securely to Information Market.
Note: Your connected wallet is essential for placing bets, claiming rewards, and managing funds on the platform.
3.1 Browsing Active Polls
• On the homepage, you will see a list of active polls available for predictions. Each poll displays:
• Poll Title: The name or topic of the poll.
• Expiration Date: Countdown until the poll closes.
3.2 Viewing Poll Details
1. Open a Poll:
• Click on a poll to access its detail page.
2. Understanding Poll Information:
• Review the description and set of percentages that represent the likelihood of the outcome.
4.1 Selecting Your Prediction
• On the poll detail page, choose the prediction option that matches your forecast.
4.2 Confirming Your Prediction
1. Cast Your Vote:
• Click “Cast Vote” to submit your chosen percentage.
2. Approve Transaction in Wallet:
• Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Approve the transaction to lock in your prediction on the Arbitrum blockchain.
Note: Once placed, your prediction is final and cannot be changed or withdrawn.
Once you’ve placed your prediction in a poll, you can track its progress and view detailed results upon conclusion. Each poll contains information that becomes fully accessible as the countdown to expiration completes.
• Countdown Timer: Each active pool displays a countdown timer on both the homepage and the pool detail page, showing the time remaining until the pool closes.
• Blurred Poll Data During Countdown:
• Participants: This field shows the total number of users who participated in the poll. During the countdown, this number remains blurred to preserve privacy.
• Total Bet Amount: This field displays the total amount staked by all participants. Like the participant count, the total bet amount is also blurred until the countdown ends.
5.2 Viewing Poll Results and Additional Information
After the poll’s countdown timer expires, several additional fields and sections will appear on the poll detail page, allowing you to see a comprehensive breakdown of the pool’s outcomes and participant demographics.
5.2.1 Prediction Chart
In the center of the pool detail page, you’ll find a chart summarizing prediction data and results:
• Participants’ Predictions: A visual representation of all predictions made in the poll, showing what each participant expected as the outcome.
• Actual Outcome: The correct outcome for the poll is highlighted on the chart.
• Winning Prediction Range: Displays the range of predictions that were accurate, highlighting participants who correctly predicted the outcome.
This chart provides an overview of how users placed their predictions relative to the final result, giving an at-a-glance summary of the poll’s outcome distribution.
5.2.2 Pool Description and AI Analysis (Grok)
• Pool Description: A summary of the poll’s context and the predictions being made.
• AI-Generated Insight (Grok): An AI-generated description provided by Grok, which offers an analytical perspective on the poll’s results and overall participation patterns.
5.2.3 Activities and Demographics
1. Activities:
• This section lists all participants who placed predictions in the poll.
• Each participant’s result is color-coded:
• Pink: Indicates users whose predictions were incorrect and lost the bet.
• Blue: Indicates users who correctly predicted the outcome and won.
• Use this section to review how others fared in the poll.
You may see their transactions by clicking the eye next to their username.
2. Demographics:
• This section provides demographic data for all users who placed predictions in the poll:
• Gender Breakdown: Percentage distribution of participants by gender (male, female, other).
• Age Ranges: Distribution by age range, showing how different age groups placed their predictions.
• Voting Patterns: Shows the percentage of participants who predicted each outcome, organized by demographics.
• This information offers insights into the diversity of participants and prediction trends across various groups.
• After a pool concludes, navigate to its detail page to check if your percentage prediction was accurate.
1. Click “Claim Reward”:
• If your prediction was accurate, a “Claim Reward” button will appear.
2. Approve Reward Transaction:
• Your wallet will prompt you to approve the reward transaction. Confirm the transaction to receive your payout.
• Once the transaction is complete, your reward will be transferred to your wallet.
• From the main navigation menu, go to “My Polls”. This section provides a personalized view of all pools in which you have cast a vote.

• To disconnect from the platform, click the “Logout” button in the account menu.
• This will safely disconnect your wallet and log you out of the platform.
The Wallet Management section provides options for copying your wallet address and disconnecting your wallet from the platform.

• Select “Copy Address” within the module to copy your wallet address to your clipboard. This can be useful if you need to share your wallet address.
